I asked Larysa what aspect of her work she wanted to bring to the attention of Gothic By Design brides. “If a little girl opens her grandmother’s treasure chest in 20, 30 or 40 years time and pulls out one of my corsets, along with happy memories of it being worn, I’ll be very happy!”

Larysa grew up in the world of high couture fashion, her mother having produced gowns for the UK’s most prominent designers in the 1980s and 1990s. She went on to study at University and did additional training at the prestigious London College of Fashion and Central St. Martin’s.
