Right then, I’ve had these images of Amanda Norman’s work for quite a while. It makes sense that they be presented to you as we approach the witching hour, on this, the most auspicious day in the Horror Calender.
If you haven’t come across Amanda before then you are about to learn that she is an extremely talented horror photographer.

Amanda is certainly Goth at heart and one look at her photography portfolio conveys this. Her love of Gothic Horror is a strong feature in her work and most of her prints would make an ideal gift for a Gothic couple on their wedding day.

Amanda likes the challenge of alternative photography. How many photographers could make a graveyard scene look so beautiful and fill you with emotion? Amanda seeks the alternative view in everything she photographs, including her dark portraits. Why not take an engagement shoot to the extreme and have your alter egos captured forever?

Feel free to contact Amanda if you would like to have your portrait taken. One client had this to say,
“When I arrived I was very nervous of what I was getting myself into. When I was greeted by Amanda, everything changed!
“She made me feel at ease and explained everything in full. She asked me to relax and get into character and not a ‘bugs bunny’ one at that,LOL! She helped and advised with posing, posture, expression and even described the different types of photography styles she was doing.
“THIS IS A MUST FOR EVERYONE, A GREAT GIFT FOR A FRIEND OR MEMBER OF THE FAMILY. THANKS AMANDA!”

You are sure to find a highly individual corset to inspire, delight and evoke admiration on your wedding day.
I asked Larysa what aspect of her work she wanted to bring to the attention of Gothic By Design brides. She explained, “I would really like to emphasise the high quality and the workmanship of my corsets, as I see them as an investment rather than a throwaway garment; pieces of art that will never go out of fashion.
“If a little girl opens her grandmother’s treasure chest in 20, 30 or 40 years time and pulls out one of my corsets, along with happy memories of it being worn, I’ll be very happy!”

You would be well placed to regard these garments so highly, with Larysa’s strong connections and extensive training in the fashion industry. Larysa grew up in the world of high couture fashion, her mother having produced gowns for the UK’s most prominent designers in the 1980s and 1990s. She went on to study at University and did additional training at the prestigious London College of Fashion and Central St. Martin’s.
