Whilst in contact with David of Lindsay Flemming last week, he suggested that you might like to know about the following:-
“We are now introducing our new service, The Roadshow, initially in London, where we hire a location and bring all of our dresses down for people to see and try on. Basically, we offer the same service as if you were to visit our studio. We return to the same location every 8 to 10 weeks to arrange fittings.”
What a fantastic idea!

Introducing – Lindsay Flemming Couture
Here’s a lovely business based in Lanarkshire, that makes the most beautiful wedding dresses, all bespoke.
I’ve recently been in touch with David Lindsay who looks after the admin and marketing of the company – this is what he told me:-
“Lindsay Fleming was created thirteen years ago by Grace Lindsay and Julie Fleming, however Julie has since left the business. Now I work with Grace (my wife), she does all of the creative work, designing and making the dresses, while I do all of the marketing and admin, and web design.
Up until the last eighteen months we concentrated totally on Celtic/Medieval inspired dresses. All gowns are made to measure so we do not have any stock but do have samples of each style for people to try on when they visit our studio. All styles can be modified to exactly what the bride is looking for, i.e. colour, train length, more/less embroidery or trimmings, etc. etc..
“We offer a mail order service for anyone who cannot visit the studio and each year sell dresses to the US, Canada, Europe etc.”
I enjoyed browsing Lindsay Flemming’s website and blogto see the range of styles that they have to offer. As well as the celtic and medieval inspired dresses thay now also offer some exquisite vintage designs – take a look.
Also worthy of note is that Lindsay Fleming have won the VOWS (Voted Outstanding Wedding Supplier) awards on two of the last four years for being Scottish Designer of the year.
